Rollercoasters!!!
I love roller coasters, I have ridden roller coasters from one end of this
nation to another. I did not take these pictures, I borrowed them from the
nice folks at www.rcdb.com, if you like
rollercoasters, check them out. Here are some of my favorites from west
to east.
Demon - Great America, Santa Clara, CA 50mph 2 loops, 2 corkscrews.
There is a really great view off the right side from the loops, there
is a clear view of the office building next to the park, and you get
to watch the office building do a flip.

Grizzly - Great America, Santa Clara, CA 55mph old style wooden teeth
rattler, if the frame shook any more when you round the turns, they
would have to move the next ride over so that it would not hit it. |
Georgia Cyclone - Six Flags Over Georgia, Atlanta, GA HUGE 50mph wooden
roller coaster with a big drop and a long run. |
Ninja
- Six Flags Over Georgia, Atlanta, GA 52mph three loops, two cork screws
it is a major rush, my favorite coaster at this Georgia park that has
seven more. |
Volcano, The Blast Coaster - Paramount's Kings Dominion, Doswell, VA,
70mph linear launch, vertical boost, inverted roll out and three corkscrews,
this coaster was a exactly as advertised a real blast. This was my first
Linear Induction system, I stood at the launch for ten minutes just
watching the cars make a slow corner and then accelerate away at 3G's
on a level section of track, WOW! |
